A top ZNA boss identified as Brigadier General Cuthbert Dube is accused of stealing 30 Tonnes of beef. This meat was meant for the army which is complaining of hunger.
His driver was nabbed in possession of the loot.The Zimbabwe Military Police detained driver reviewed that he had been instructed by his superior to deliver it somewhere.
It is reviewed that the army boss in question is well know for abusing army properties. Former Army Chief of staff administration major General Douglas Nyikayaramba made it clear that Zimbabwe’s economy is not growing because of corruption.
Brigadier General Cuthbert Dube could not be reached for commenting. The Zimbabwe National Army spokesperson, Lieutenant Alpheos Makotore also failed to comment saying he was off duty.
