UK based Zimbabwean music legend who relocated there in 2004 alleging intimidation and persecution by the regime of the late Robert Mugabe had a very disastrous festive season. He lost his entire album which was supposed to be released before Christmas.

The trackdown studios which recorded Mapfumo claimed that their computer hard drive had burnt and they were only able to recover 2 tracks.

The studio is saying they have to rerecord the album. However this will come with extra expenses.

They need to come up with about Us$1600 inorder to hire the session musicians they used. Mapfumo is open to donations to help him raise that amount of money.
