The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission acknowledged receipt of a new political party with the name MDC.
The founder of the party has been acknowledged to be Thulani Ndebele.
Information on the public square including a poster for election campaign suggest that he was a member of Mai Mujuru’s NPP.
The party is headquartered in Gweru.
