The self-exiled Professor Jonathan Moyo who disappeared last week from all his social media handles bounced back today with a mourning message of daughter Zanele Ntombizodwa Moyo.
Twenty year old Zanele was found dead in her room at the University of Cape Town in what seemed to be a 2015 foul play.
The usually active Professor Moyo vanished from all social media sites on 13th October only to resurface today, 24th October, the exact dates of Zanele’s death and burial.
On his twitter handle Prof Moyo wrote “Our Angel departed on the 14 October 2015and we laid her to rest on the 23 October 2015.
Surely Goodness and mercy shall follow her as she dwells in the house of the Lord forever,” read the message.
Ironically, the documentary ExcelGate which is based on Prof Moyo book was also released on 23 October, a period after his days of silence in memory of Zanele.
