President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesperson George Charamba shocked the nation when he posted a link to a p*rn*graphic website, an act that is prohibited in Zimbabwe.
Charamba posted the link using his @jamwanda twitter account which is also the same account he used when he made a post of the the president eating sadza during a flight.
Possession and distribution of p*rn*graphic materials is illegal in Zimbabwe and according to the Censorship and Entertainment Act, it is illegal to import, print, publish, manufacture, make or produce, distribute, display, exhibit or sell any publication that is deemed to be indecent.
This offence is liable to a fine or a one year jail term.
The prohibited post was titled ‘Mouth Watering M*LF *rgasms’ with a nude video.
Upon realisation, Charamba tweeted minutes later claiming to have been hacked “Who ever did this is despicable, and i suggest it stops immediately”.
However, the list of politicians and public figures involved in such acts continue to increase, with Patrick Zhuwao having been involved in one of these offences.
