The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has spent more than half a million dollars in new bond coins from a South African company called South African Mint.
6 048 000 pieces of fifty cents bond coins have been ordered for a value of $5 135 296.32 The invoice was made to the attention of Professor Kuveya in the banking operations department.
The company contracted is the South African Mint. The invoice was dated 20 September 2019.
