In a Shocking development, Dr Peter Magombeyi has been placed under hospital arrest. He was prevented from leaving Zimbabwe on his booked SAA flight by police last night.
The Zimbabwe human rights lawyers Association has been working through the night on the case and will file an application this morning.
He was prevented from leaving Zimbabwe yesterday as Police say there is nothing wrong with him.
A ZANU PF linked Twitter account (Kudzai Mutisi) encouraged the police to prevent him from leaving Zimbabwe as he is not injured and does not have liver damage .
Earlier in the day,the ZRP Commissioner General Matanha filed an urgent chamber application. At the high Court seeking to correct an order or the court that had Interdicted Zimbabwe police from preventing Dr Magombeyi from leaving for South Africa.
It is clear that the Zimbabwe Authorities are trying to prevent Dr Peter Magombeyi from Leaving Zimbabwe in a bid to prevent him from talking to the international press about what happened to him while he was Abducted.
