Edward Nkata and Caroline Nkata are a Zimbabwean couple currently on trial in Namibia for the 2020 murder of nine-year-old Akundaishe Natalie Chipomho. The couple, along with the child’s mother, Rachel Kureva, face multiple charges including murder, attempted murder, assault, and defeating the course of justice. It is alleged that between 23 and 25 January 2020, the Nkatas assaulted the child until she was unconscious, placed her in a plastic bucket, and waited for her to die. Rachel Kureva (Mother) and Caroline are still on the case.
