President Emmerson Mnangagwa has gifted Scottland FC captain Walter Musona a brand-new Ford Wildtrak vehicle. The gift was in recognition of Musona leading the club to the 2025 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) title in their debut top-flight season.

The team presented their 2025 league trophy to the President earlier today, November 29, 2025.

Scottland FC, owned by Member of Parliament and gold mogul Pedzisai “Scott” Sakupwanya, is known for significant investments and generous player incentives, including promising all players brand-new Kia Seltos vehicles for winning the title. The club equaled a record set in 1984 by Black Rhinos by winning the Zimbabwean championship in their debut season.

Walter Musona joined Scottland FC in the 2025 offseason (early 2025), ahead of the start of the 2025 Premier Soccer League season. He signed a lucrative two-year deal with the ambitious newcomers after leaving reigning Zimbabwe champions Simba Bhora.
