The Arrest of Job Sikhala in Akasia has led to a massive operation inAkasia in which over 80 illegal immigrants were arrested. South African police indicated that Major General Fred Kekana, led yet another successful multidisciplinary High-Density Operation in Akasia, Tshwane District, where at a roadblock, 23 people were arrested for drunk driving, while over 80 illegal immigrants were apprehended.

Provincial Detectives also arrested 1,300 wanted suspects overnight, including 268 for crimes against women and children, while conducting compliance inspections and ensuring visibility around the Akasia policing precinct.

John Heche the Deputy Chairperson of Tanzania’s main opposition party, CHADEMA, was arrested a week before the October 29, 2025, election.
