Former ZANU-PF youth leader, Godfrey Tsenengamu, has met with Zimbabwe President, E.D. Mnangagwa. Tsenengamu was expelled from ZANU-PF in 2020 for publicly accusing senior party officials and individuals linked to the President of corruption.
Tsenengamu was previously a strong critic of Mnangagwa’s administration after his expulsion, claiming the country was better governed under former President Robert Mugabe and vowing to fight corruption through a new task force.
Reports in 2024 indicated that he is seeking readmission to the party he was expelled from five years prior.
