Help Zimbabwean Students Study in France: Head of Campus France Zimbabwe Role Open

Are you passionate about connecting Zimbabwean youth with world-class educational opportunities? The French Embassy in Zimbabwe is hiring a Head of Campus France Zimbabwe. This is a part-time position designed to link local students with top universities in France. The job is based at the Alliance Française in Harare and begins on November 17, 2025.


What is Campus France?

Campus France is a French government agency that supports international students aiming to study in France. It covers everything from choosing programs and applying for visas to securing scholarships. In Zimbabwe, Campus France operates from the Alliance Française de Harare, running workshops, events, and advisory sessions to simplify the process of studying abroad.

Did you know? France welcomes over 400,000 international students each year—including many from Africa. Students flock to renowned institutions like Sorbonne and École Polytechnique for programs taught in both French and English.


The Opportunity: Guiding Students to Global Success

  • Part-time: 10 hours per week, one-year contract (with possible renewal)

  • Location: Alliance Française (328 Herbert Chitepo Avenue, Harare), with some duties at the Embassy and travel as needed

  • Reports to: Embassy’s Cooperation and Cultural Action Advisor

  • Start date: November 17, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Promote France as a Study Destination

  • Visit schools and universities to share information about studying in France.

  • Provide details on applications, visa requirements, and student life.

Guide and Support Students

  • Advise young people interested in French education.

  • Organize meetups for alumni and language assistants.

Manage Projects and Connections

  • Track scholarships, job opportunities, and English-medium programs in France.

  • Update website and social media channels (@CampusFranceZW on X).

  • Benchmark against offers from countries such as the UK or US.

  • Administer a small operational budget.

You’ll collaborate with the French Embassy’s dynamic team to build programs that are both impactful and accessible.
