Zimbabwes ICT Minister, Tatenda Mavetera has met Group President of MTN, Ralph Mupita at the UN General Assembly in New York.
Mavetera said it’s always an honor to connect with a fellow Zimbabwean who are making profound impact on the global stage.
She said Ralph’s leadership at MTN is a true inspiration demonstrating what Zimbabwe’s talent can achieve at the highest level.
While expressing her admiration for MTN’s great work in driving digital transformation across Africa, she and Mupita also explored avenues of how MTN can deepen its contribution to innovation and the digital economy in Zimbabwe.
Adding, Mavetera said it was an impactful meeting reinforced by the belief that collaboration between government and private sector leaders especially Zimbabweans is key to unlocking county’s full potential.
