We meet today against the backdrop of robust discussions that characterized our last meeting. We resolved to invite critical Ministries to provide updated reports on key issues affecting the daily lives of our people. Among the pertinent matters to be discussed is the state of preparedness for the 22nd National People’s Conference, which will be held in Mutare next month.

I commend all provinces and districts for consolidating their discussions in preparation for the conference. The DNA of ZANU-PF as a people’s party must never be compromised. Office bearers at all levels must never become impediments to the growth and development of our economy.

The protection of our hard-won independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity demands discipline. We must never allow laxity to creep into how the party governs itself. Resources should be deployed to uplift our people to a higher quality of life. Corruption of any kind can never be condoned.

We have a duty to boldly and decisively deal with those who tarnish the name of the party. Ngatirambeyi tichishandira musangano wedu—let us continue diligently serving our organization.

It is my expectation that the respective wings of the party will provide comprehensive reports on the success stories they have achieved. We must never engage in window dressing our projects.

Our engagements with the Vatican, China, and Eswatini demonstrate our commitment to building bridges for cooperation. On behalf of ZANU-PF, the Government, and the people of Zimbabwe, I wish to welcome the ongoing endorsement by progressive nations of our bid for the 2027-2028 non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.

I urge us all to work harder, grow, align, and strengthen our grassroots structures as we accelerate progress towards the realization of Vision 2030.
