Businessman Wicknel Chivhayo has marked President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s 83rd birthday with a lavish donation package worth US$4 million, reaffirming his support for national development and empowerment initiatives.
The gesture includes 10 brand-new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 VXR vehicles, each valued at US$190,000, which will be handed over to Zimbabwe’s ten provinces. In addition, each province will receive US$100,000 in funding to bolster local development projects and youth empowerment programs.
In a move aimed at strengthening the country’s healthcare system, Chivhayo also pledged to donate state-of-the-art Toyota Land Cruiser ICU ambulances to provincial hospitals. These ambulances are equipped with advanced medical technology to improve emergency response and patient care across Zimbabwe.
Chivhayo said the donations were a way of honouring President Mnangagwa’s leadership and dedication to Zimbabwe’s growth and the well-being of its people.
The high-profile gesture comes as the nation celebrates the President’s birthday with a series of events, including the Munhumutapa Gala in Zvishavane, underscoring both cultural pride and the commitment of business leaders to national progress.
