Peter Moyo will be among the headline acts tonight at the Munhumutapa Gala, set to light up Gresham Grounds in Zvishavane in celebration of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s birthday.
The event boasts a star-studded lineup featuring Suluman Chimbetu, Mark Ngwazi, Chief Hwenje, Sandra Ndebele, Jah Prayzah’s protégé Jah Promo, Andy Muridzo, Dorcas Moyo, Enzo Ishall, Pumacol, and gospel power couple Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba. Botswana’s celebrated artist Vee Mampeezy will also grace the stage.
According to Farai Marapira, ZANU PF’s Director for Information and Publicity, the gala is not just about music but also about celebrating Zimbabwe’s progress under President Mnangagwa’s leadership, particularly in mining and trade.
He urged Zimbabweans to turn out in their numbers, describing the gala as an opportunity to celebrate the country’s cultural pride and uniqueness.
With some of the nation’s most popular artists on the bill, the night promises an electric atmosphere filled with music, dance, and national pride showcasing both Zimbabwe’s talent and the energy of its youth.
