The relationship between socialite Pokello Nare and Emmerson Mnangagwa Jr has ignited a storm inside the First Family, with conflicting reports painting a picture of tension, disapproval, and escalating drama.
According to political activist Ali Naka, “all is not well” in the Mnangagwa Junior household after images of Pokello dubbed a slay queen in the post began circulating online.
He claims Emmerson Jr urged her to take them down, but she refused, triggering anger within the family.
First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa is reportedly furious, with the household now probing the source of funds behind Pokello’s flashy lifestyle.
Naka further alleges that the fallout has left her “suffering from depression.”
The affair itself is deeply disapproved of by both parents, especially Auxillia, who only recognises Jr’s legal wife, Leya Travis-Mnangagwa.
The family is said to accuse Pokello of deliberately posting pictures with Emmerson Jr to spite Leya and destabilise the marriage.
Sources say that even Mnangagwa Jr who did not travel with the group was privately angered by the images.
