Following the recent death of Itai Mushekwe, government spokesperson George Charamba issued a statement condemning some of Mushekwe’s past actions, emphasizing that while the nation mourns his loss, it remains important to acknowledge the controversies surrounding his life.
Charamba expressed disappointment over certain behaviors exhibited by Mushekwe, stating, “While we acknowledge his contributions and the loss felt across the nation, we must also condemn the actions that caused division and harm to our community.”
