This afternoon, His Excellency the President, Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, held a meeting with Mrs. Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP).
Food security remains one of the key pillar policies under the Second Republic, and the engagement reflected Government’s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships that enhance agricultural productivity and ensure national food self-sufficiency.
Mrs. McCain, who is the widow of the late U.S. Senator John McCain, has been leading WFP’s global operations, focusing on addressing hunger and supporting vulnerable communities.
