Mozambican opposition leader Venancio Mondlane will be the Guest of Honour at the launch of politician Job Sikhala’s biography, Footprints in the Chains: The Life Story of Job Sikhala.
The event is set for Saturday, 30 August 2025, at the African Centre for Governance, 17 Diagonal Street, Old Johannesburg Stock Exchange Building, opposite the Star Newspapers Headquarters in central Johannesburg, running from 13:30 to 17:30 hrs.
Sikhala confirmed the development in a statement on X, adding that the launch will also feature eminent human rights defenders and political figures from South Africa and abroad.
The book chronicles Sikhala’s life, struggles, and political journey, and its launch is expected to draw significant attention across the region.
