35 Year old Coup Announcer, Simbarashe Mandizvidza (SSB Liaison Office) has been remanded in custody until Monday by Magistrate Vakayi Chikwekwe. He faces three charges: Causing disaffection among armed forces, stealing a motor vehicle and transmitting false data.
The car was released to him by Chief Inspector Fidios Chiteure, Officer In Charge Of The Police General Headquarters Pay and Records section.
Mandizvidza drove to Waerera Village in Chief Masembura’s jurisdiction, Bindura, where it was later recovered.
