Zimbabwean music royalty Selmor Mtukudzi is set to share the stage with the iconic Dr Thomas Mapfumo in a special event celebrating the Chimurenga music pioneer as a living legend.
Selmor, daughter of the late national music hero Oliver Mtukudzi, expressed her excitement on social media, writing:

The event, which will be held on 23rd of August in UK, promises to be a rare musical gathering of two generations of Zimbabwe’s most influential voices.
Dr Thomas Mapfumo, widely known as “The Lion of Zimbabwe,” has been a central figure in the nation’s soundtrack since the liberation struggle, blending traditional rhythms with messages of social justice.
