The body of Anotida “Kim” Maziriri, a Zimbabwean woman who tragically lost her life in a car accident in Canada, has arrived home to an emotional and heartbreaking welcome.
Kim died a few weeks ago while reportedly on her way to attend a Jah Prayzah concert in Canada. Her untimely passing sent shockwaves across the Zimbabwean community at home and in the diaspora, where she was known and loved by many.
Family, friends, and members of the public gathered to receive her remains, which arrived in a wooden casket, marking the final journey home for a life cut short far too soon. In one of the more emotional moments, a banner reading “Welcome Back Home – Kim Anotida, Forever Loved” was displayed as loved ones broke down in tears.
