Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni has met Malawian leader William Ruto to strengthen bilateral relations.
Museveni said he is very much pleased with the agreements signed which will strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
He said his key points were that Africa’s abundant resources must be leveraged and economies effectively rationalised.
Museveni said the key to Africa’s prosperity lies in increasing the production of goods and services with much consideration being in the market for these products.
He therefore said market access should be prioritized and to unlock East Africa’s economic potential.
With unity and collaboration, Museveni said Africa can build a brighter and more prosperous future for the people.
