Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Stunner has weighed in on the fashion controversy at this year’s Zimfest UK, calling out what he described as “fashion fails” by some female attendees.

In a candid post-festival commentary, Stunner advised women to dress according to their body types instead of copying celebrities blindly. “Not every style is for every body,” he said, noting that some outfits led to full exposure of breasts and left women constantly adjusting their clothes.

“Some of the things that were coming out would make people fail to enjoy ice cream,” he joked, clearly unimpressed with what he saw as unnecessary overexposure.

He was, however, quick to point out that it wasn’t everyone, stating that less than a third were dressed inappropriately. “Vanhu vangavakachena,” he added, praising the many who looked elegant and smart.

Stunner also dismissed social media rumours about human waste being found on the festival lawns, calling the claims far-fetched and malicious. “Nyaya yekusetera masinhi muloni, vanhu havana chakanaka,” he said, criticizing those spreading negativity around the event.
