Controversial preacher Passion Java has reignited political tensions online after posting a photo of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and businessman Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei at a golf tournament, captioned “President Ed Mnangagwa and Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei… Pasi na Geza.”
The post, which has since gone viral, appears to be a direct jab at political activist and whistleblower Geza, who accused Tagwirei of being a corrupt figure manipulating state affairs from behind the scenes.
Java’s mocking tone and timing of the “Pasi na Geza” post, coupled with the image of Tagwirei and Mnangagwa enjoying a relaxed moment on the golf course, has been interpreted by some as a show of solidarity with the establishment and a dismissal of Geza’s allegations.
Tagwirei, a politically connected businessman with major interests in fuel, mining, and banking, has long faced scrutiny over alleged state capture and profiteering from public contracts. Despite numerous reports linking him to questionable dealings, he remains closely aligned with top government officials.
