In a heartwarming gesture that has captured the attention of many across the country, prominent businessman Wicknel Chivhayo has honoured well-known street preacher Evangelist Trymore Muparinga with a remarkable gift a brand-new 2025 Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6 and USD $50,000 in cash to support his ministry.
Chivhayo, known for his philanthropy and outspoken support of local leaders and religious figures, made the announcement in a heartfelt post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday.
Reflecting on Evangelist Muparingaâs years of unwavering street ministry at the corner of First Street and Speke Avenue in Harare, Chivhayo described him as a “spiritual compass for many” whose teachings, though simple, carry profound spiritual revelation.
“For many years, at corner 1st Street and Speke Avenue, a certain evangelist became a spiritual compass for many, using no stage, no PA system, but just a humble preacher of the Word and a heart full of fire,” Chivhayo wrote.
He praised Muparinga’s humility, consistency, and refusal to speak ill of others, noting that even after travelling abroad and being exposed to new opportunities, the evangelist remained grounded and committed to his roots.
In recognition of this âexceptional contribution to the body of Christ,â Chivhayo instructed Muparinga to visit Exquisite Motors on Monday to collect the fully paid-for luxury SUV, and confirmed the additional cash gift would be delivered to aid the preacherâs growing ministry â whether for purchasing instruments, setting up equipment, or expanding outreach efforts.
Chivhayo concluded the announcement with a blessing: âMay God continue blessing you abundantly.â
