Business tycoon and Sakunda Holdings boss Dr. Kudakwashe Regimond Tagwirei has called for the inclusion of proven business leaders in the political structures of ZANU PF, arguing that the party must evolve to meet the demands of a global capitalist economy.

Tagwirei urged the ruling party to redefine revolutionary leadership by embracing professionals and entrepreneurs who have demonstrated capacity to deliver results in the private sector.

He believes such individuals could help modernize and stabilize the party’s economic vision.

“What the party needs now is a revolutionary approach, beyond slogans a leadership that blends patriotism with professional delivery,” Tagwirei wrote.

He emphasized that Zimbabwe cannot continue sidelining its own successful businesspeople while depending on foreign investors or recycled political figures. Instead, he argued, leaders with real-world business experience can help turn around the country’s economic fortunes if integrated into national and party-level policy-making bodies.

Tagwirei, who has often been linked to high-level political and economic influence, suggested that ZANU PF must adopt a “revolutionary blended leadership” model combining liberation war values with modern capitalist know-how.
