Popular podcaster Ollah 7 has stirred heated debate on social media following his public invitation to former opposition leader Nelson Chamisa for an appearance on his podcast.
The move has divided opinion, with some praising the initiative and others questioning its motive and appropriateness.
The invitation came just minutes after Chamisa posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he had no regrets leaving both the MDC and CCC, stating, “You will thank me later.” The cryptic statement has reignited speculation about his political future and Ollah was quick to offer a platform for Chamisa to speak.
” can we have an interview on my podcast to talk about this and more,” he wrote.
However, the response from the public was far from unanimous. Some online users accused the podcaster of clout-chasing and seeking to benefit from Chamisa’s political stature.
“Chamisa is bigger than your regular podcast guests. This feels opportunistic,” one user commented.
