Blessed Geza, a former ZANU-PF member and war veteran, is now at the center of a regional and international manhunt after the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) escalated efforts to arrest him. Geza is wanted on multiple charges, including vehicle theft, insulting the president, and inciting public violence.
The charges follow a dramatic video in which Geza openly criticized President Emmerson Mnangagwa and issued a 10-day ultimatum for the president to resign. His statement went viral on social media, drawing strong reactions and triggering a swift response from authorities.
ZRP spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the development, saying,“The police are still looking for Blessed Geza in relation to ongoing criminal investigations. It is correct that the Zimbabwe Republic Police has engaged Interpol and relevant regional police services as investigations into the case continue.”
The saga continues to unfold amid growing concerns about freedom of expression, political intimidation, and the tightening grip of state power ahead of the 2028 elections.
