In a shocking twist, Zimbabwe Vice President, General Chiwenga has ordered the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority, ZIMRA, to freeze the bank accounts of flamboyant Zimbabwe tender-prenuer, Wicknell Chivayo.
Chivayo told the Zimbabwe Independent newspaper that he is not aware of any garnishee order on his bank accounts ( Corporate or personal) by ZIMRA or any other authority. He told that newspaper that such an audit would require an agreement and would be preceded by an audit or correspondence from ZIMRA – None of which has occurred.
Wicknel also denied that there is an ongoing lifestyle audit on him.
