Fanuel Tonganayi, popularly known for his role as Firimoni in the famous Gringo comedy series, has died.
He died this morning at his rural home in Hurungwe, Mashonaland West.

The news of his passing was confirmed by Taurai Boora son to Gringo.
“I received the news from his nephew in Hurungwe. He had been very ill for two days before he died. He had retreated to his rural home, and we struggled to get in touch with him since he did not have a phone,” shared Gringo Junior
Fanuel began his career as a driver for the cast before transitioning to the role of Firimoni, which he executed very well.
It is said that early this year Fanuel had appealed to wicknell Chivhayo for assistance.
