Controversial preacher Prophet Makoni has doubled down on his public praise of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and businessman Wicknel Chivhayo, declaring that he owes no one an apology for his views.
In a bold message shared on his social platforms, Makoni said,“I don’t owe anyone an apology. No amount of insults or threats can stop me from saying ED is huchi and Wicknel is a genius.”
The outspoken prophet has sparked debate in recent weeks for aligning himself with Zimbabwe’s political and business elites, drawing both criticism and support across social media.
Makoni’s latest comments reaffirm his unwavering stance, even as detractors accuse him of sycophancy and opportunism. Supporters, however, see him as boldly expressing what many think privately that both Mnangagwa and Chivhayo wield real influence and strategic intelligence in the nation’s affairs.
