HARARE – Musician Kikky Badass has taken to social media to question why many people born and raised in ZAOGA FIF are no longer part of the church, especially younger generations.

In a strongly worded Instagram story, Kikky expressed concern over what she described as an exodus of young believers, questioning the church’s leadership and treatment of preachers who once received the late Archbishop Ezekiel Guti’s blessing.

“Why is it most of the people born in ZAOGA no longer go there? Why was Evangelist Mai Nyamanza, Evangelist Mahachi chased from the church? They both got Baba’s blessing. NdiMwari mumwe chete wani,” she wrote.

She warned that the church risks becoming irrelevant to the youth if it continues to alienate young leaders.

“Church ichapera kusara vana mhamha vedu and not the young people… Church inokura sei pasina the young people?”

Kikky went on to emphasize that God is raising young people for His kingdom, and criticized the idea of sidelining them while clinging to tradition.
