This comes after the fight between the two has reached the final stages. Mnangagwa has decided to fire Chiwenga and replace him with tender billionaire, Kuda Tagwirei.

This followed a decade-long armed struggle known as the Mozambican War of Independence, which began in 1964 and ended with a ceasefire in 1974 after the Carnation Revolution in Portugal led to negotiations for independence. After the Portuguese coup in 1974, FRELIMO (Mozambique Liberation Front) took control, and within a year most Portuguese settlers left the country. 1. Three foreign South African banks Citibank, HBZ and Botsa have been fined by the prudential authority for non compliance and have received suspended fines ranging from 1.5 to 6 million. The Prudential Authority (PA) is a separate juristic entity that operates within the administration of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), which is South Africa’s central bank. Although it has operational independence, it is governed and overseen by a Prudential Committee composed of the SARB Governor, Deputy Governors, and the CEO of the PA, who is also a Deputy Governor of the SARB. This structure means the PA is effectively owned and managed under the umbrella of the SARB.
