Controversial businessman and philanthropist Wicknel Chivhayo has responded to criticism over his high-profile donations of cars to celebrities and church members, while reports highlight severe shortages of essential medicine in Zimbabwean hospitals.
The backlash was sparked by a comment on X (formerly Twitter) from user Uncle Slimy D (@HChikaty), who questioned Chivhayo’s motives, asking: “If you’re giving those people cars out of love, why do you have to post it online? Hospitals don’t even have painkillers, Mr Sir, are you aware of that?”
Chivhayo replied bluntly: “I’m not the Minister of Health.”
