Veteran journalist Ezra Tshisa Sibanda has shed light on the notorious activities of Sithule Tshuma, a woman whose name has become synonymous with treachery, fraud, and exploitation.
Spanning continents from Zimbabwe to the UK, Canada, the USA, and Australia her sinister legacy has left a trail of financial ruin and shattered dreams among unsuspecting victims.
Sibanda’s investigation reveals how Tshuma, a poorly trained mental health nurse turned alleged con artist, duped women associated with the UK-based organization Qoki, which was initially established to empower women an initiative ultimately compromised by her deceit.
Investigations reveal that Tshuma registered all the land she acquired using victims’ funds into her personal company, Qoki Pvt Ltd, effectively funneling over 550 victims’ investments into her own pockets.
The promised properties, once believed to be in their names, are nowhere to be found. Instead, the land and assets are scattered across Bulawayo and South Africa, purchased with stolen money.
It is reported that she aggressive online when confronted and refuses to appear before the authorities.
