Zimbabwean businessman, philanthropist and devout church supporter Wicknel Chivhayo has taken his recent wedding celebration to new heights, sharing heartfelt reflections on his faith, love, and future ambitions as he embarks on a honeymoon through some of the world’s most iconic cities.
In a touching social media post, Wicknel expressed his deep gratitude for the overwhelming support received during his wedding, which was attended by over 15,000 people from across Zimbabwe.
The ceremony, rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Masowe church, was a powerful display of unity and faith, uniting families and communities from Muzarabani to Victoria Falls under the banner of love and spiritual devotion.
Wicknel, known for his unwavering commitment to empowering his church and community, reflected on a prophecy made three decades ago by renowned prophet Madzibaba Julius, foretelling the emergence of a young leader dedicated to uplifting the Masowe church.
He believes that his journey is a fulfillment of this divine prophecy, inspiring him to continue his philanthropic work aiming to surpass USD 10 million in support of his church through building projects, scholarships, and community initiatives.
“Despite critics, I will never stop supporting my church and its mission,” Wicknel declared. “My love for my wife, Madzimai Lucy, is rooted in faith and unity. Together, we walk this path, guided by God’s grace, love, and the support of our community.”
The honeymoon adventure has taken Wicknel and his wife Madzimai Lucy across the globe, with stops in Singapore, Milan, Paris, Dubai, and beyond each city symbolizing new beginnings and opportunities for growth and cultural exchange.
Through these travels, Wicknel hopes to inspire others with his message of love, faith, and dedication to community service.
