Zimbabwean hip-hop artist KikkyBadass shared a chilling encounter on her social media, warning fans to remain cautious while driving, especially at night.
The artist recounted a close brush with what appears to have been an attempted carjacking involving flashing lights and an aggressive driver.
The incident occurred around 7 PM as she was driving with her siblings. Everything seemed normal until a car began flashing its lights behind her shortly after passing the Samora Machel and ED Mnangagwa intersection.
“At first, I thought I was driving too slow, but the car wasn’t even close, and it didn’t attempt to overtake,” Kikky wrote.
The situation escalated near the Robert Mugabe and ED Mnangagwa corner, where the vehicle began to tail her closely and continued flashing persistently.
Despite feeling uneasy, she kept driving, suspecting it might have been a friend. But when the driver started behaving aggressively, as if trying to force her off the road, she slowed down and moved aside only to realize it wasn’t a friend but someone potentially dangerous.
“10 minutes later, our friend called and said they had almost gotten robbed,” she revealed. “These guys started flashing guns… they were pointing and signaling them to stop.”
