Renowned Zimbabwean entrepreneur and personality, Mudiwa Hood, has announced an ambitious new initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and simultaneously bolstering the country’s healthcare sector.
In a recent social media post, Hood unveiled plans to fund the “Billionaire Academy,” a program designed to support small business startups in Zimbabwe.
Hood stated that the Billionaire Academy is his “brain child” and that he will be personally funding the initiative, seeking assistance from friends and business colleagues where necessary.
He particularly encouraged recent graduates and students interested in exploring entrepreneurship to pay close attention to his upcoming announcements, promising “life changing” opportunities.
Hood revealed that any business receiving funding through the program will be required to partner with a specific hospital or clinic for a five-year period.
This partnership will involve sponsoring drugs or machines with the explicit goal of improving healthcare facilities.
“If WE DO NOT DO THAT, WHO ELSE WILL DO THAT!” Hood passionately stated, emphasizing the collective responsibility to address healthcare needs. He also indicated that his own companies will partner with select hospitals, seeking official permission to do so.
Hood framed this initiative as a “PERSONAL choice,” driven by his love for his country and a desire to help with the resources he has.
