The Bulawayo City Council, through a press statement released by Mayor David Coltart, has vehemently denied reports published by The Chronicle and The Herald alleging that a delegation of 21 individuals from the city traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa, to meet with “Lobengula King.”
In the statement, Mayor Coltart clarified that no such delegation was dispatched or authorized by the Bulawayo City Council.
He described the reports as “inaccurate and misleading,” stating that they have caused unnecessary confusion and concern among residents.
