Two men, Thabo Blessing Dube (27) and Martin Charli, have been arrested in connection with the alleged gang rape of social media personality Mai Jeremaya, Matrix Private Detectives have confirmed.
Investigators allege the suspects orchestrated a scheme to lure her to a staged business meeting by pretending to be interested in hiring her for social media advertisements.
Dube and Charli are being held at Waterfalls Police Station as the probe continues. Authorities suspect these individuals may have targeted more than 50 women using similar methods, though many victims have not yet come forward.
A phone number linked to the suspects, with a South African profile picture featuring luxury vehicles labeled “Sam 1,” aided investigators.
