Musician Gombarume, popularly known as Chillmaster, has changed his plea to guilty on charges of culpable homicide and driving without a license. He initially entered a not guilty plea before Magistrate Tatenda Mukurunge on Wednesday.
The charges relate to a car accident in which Gombarume’s vehicle fatally struck 50-year-old Caston Charambira, who died at the scene.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Chillmaster expressed remorse, extended condolences to the victim’s family, and stated his cooperation with authorities and acceptance of responsibility.
