Gweru is grieving the loss of Lazarus T. Chikadaya, a respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, who passed away peacefully in Harare just a day after surgery.
As the founder and managing director of Drawlink Civil Engineering, Chikadaya made significant contributions to Zimbabwe’s business and infrastructure, notably through road rehabilitation initiatives and the establishment of a US$500,000 asphalt plant in Gweru.
His influence extended beyond business; he was an ardent supporter of local sports, particularly Chapungu United Football Club.
