Gospel artist Rebecca spoke out about the backlash she has faced on social media after a concert in Malawi where she acknowledged the presence of prophet Bushiri, who attended the event as a fan.
Two years ago, Rebecca clarifies that she was booked by a promoter for the concerta unaffiliated with any church and expressed her surprise and gratitude for Bushiri’s support.
Despite numerous invitations from him to visit his church, she has never attended, stating that she is grounded in her faith and has always made excuses to decline.
Rebecca expressed her hurt over the insults directed at her, pleading for people to stop spreading misinformation and attacking her character, asserting her commitment to her beliefs and her unfamiliarity with Bushiri beyond that event.
