Tendai Biti, a former finance minister and a vocal critic of the current administration, has alleged that Guvamatanga’s actions violate both legal and constitutional norms.
“What the permanent secretary has done is illegal and unconstitutional,” Biti asserted, emphasizing the potential ramifications of such a precedent on Zimbabwe’s financial stability and rule of law.
