Businessman Wicknel Chivhayo finds himself at the center of scrutiny once again.

Recent revelations have unveiled that Maxine Branson, wife of prominent religious figure Prophet Edd Branson, received US$51,000 from a controversial contract associated with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).

Chivhayo, a well-known tenderpreneur, secured a staggering US$40 million contract with the ZEC through Ren-form CC a South African company, which has been criticized for its lack of transparency and potential improprieties.

Although the company had refused working with Chivhayo or having him as a stakeholder  payment made to him after receiving the money from Zimbabwe Ministry of finance raised some eyebrows.

The financial connection between Chivhayo and Maxine Branson has also raised eyebrows, particularly given the significant sums involved.
