Notes
Hopewell speaks on Chamisa
I have every right to demand accountability from him. I campaigned for him, I fundraised for him, I paid my own money to ferry his supporters to register to vote. I even went into the studio to do a rap song encouraging youths to register and vote for him. He got millions of votes. So we will not stop asking him to do the right thing, he got people’s votes. If Mnangagwa resigns today, are we supposed to ignore his corruption scandals simply because he resigned? Zimbabweans are known for being literate, but it seems critical thinking is not one of our strengths. You cannot resign to avoid accountability and then come back in 2026 or 2027 asking for votes again.
One has to be thoroughly stupid to ask people not to hold a man who was funded by citizens and got their votes accountable for his actions. I am not stupid. Zvekuti akarezaina izvo iarguement used by dum-dums, he didn’t retire, he must be held to the same standard we use on ZANUPF! If you don’t like it, block my twitter account!
