Zimbabwean businessman Wicknel Chivhayo has taken to social media to express his disappointment and outrage over the online backlash against gospel singer Dorcas Moyo.
Moyo had posted a song that was allegedly turned into a political issue, sparking hateful speech and cyber-bullying from some quarters.
Chivhayo, a known supporter of the ruling ZANU PF party, condemned the lack of political tolerance amongst Zimbabweans and emphasized the need for maturity in accepting the party’s dominance.
He also reiterated his support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, stating that he is firmly in control of the country.
Chivhayo announced that he would be rewarding Moyo with a brand new 2025 Toyota Fortuner, fully paid for, as well as $20,000 in cash for petrol and personal expenses.
He thanked those who had persecuted and ridiculed Moyo, stating that their hate had ultimately made her great.
