Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, the son of former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, has publicly questioned businessman Wicknel Chivhayo’s decision to offer a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of individuals who robbed his in-laws’ farmhouse.
Mugabe suggested that Chivhayo, who is known for his spiritual inclinations, should instead seek guidance from his church’s prophets rather than offering a substantial cash reward.
“USD$100,000 cash reward offered kudiiko… Handiti urimadzibaba, porifatai netuvapfanha twenty twekumasowe nemukuruwenyu wekusowevaKatsiru…,” he said.
The robbery at Chivhayo’s in-laws’ farmhouse has been a major news story in recent days, with many blaming Chivhayo for his in-laws predicaments.
This is due to the fact that Chivhayo announced the money he was to pay for lobola, this has made people speculate that his announcement in the public domain attracted thieves to his in-laws farmhouse.
